A some what simple piece.

In creating this diorama, I had 3 goals. Firstly, I aimed to vividly depict the perilous nature and dramatic angles faced by the men who scaled these cliffs back in 1915.

Secondly, I drew inspiration from the colours found in colorized vintage photographs. These old images hold a unique charm, and I sought to infuse my diorama with a colour palette that pays homage to this aesthetic.

Lastly, this project provided me with a valuable opportunity to enhance my proficiency in 3D sculpting. In fact to get the scale right for the figures, I 3d scanned the terrain using photogrammetry then imported it into my 3D sculpting software where the figures build right into the base before printing.
